October 5, 2009: Darla is kicking stronger every day!

Moving Day

We are thrilled to hang Darla's clothes in her new closet! Daddy chose the pink bear suit for her coming-home outfit. :)

Daddy's finished kitchen floor - brand new and sparkling clean!

Daddy retiling the kitchen floor....one of MANY repairs and projects to get our new home ready for Darla

It's a GIRL!!!

First ultrasound at the hospital! We were blessed to find out that the baby's organs were all developing perfectly and it's a GIRL!!! We barely made it to the car before it dawned on Mark that she will never be allowed to date. :)

Celebrating family birthdays

August 30, 2009: Grandma's 85th birthday party...and one of Darla's first normal meals (meaning something other than gingerale, pudding, and popsicles!); first pictures with family

August 29, 2009: Darla's first picture with Nanna and Grandpa

After hours of digging through boxes in the heat, we FINALLY found the small bear that Mark gave me in 1999 on a band field trip. He won it from a game machine and I saved it all these years. Poor Granddaddy didn't know he would spend his birthday this way!

The beginnings of a belly!

Still nauseous, but proud of the belly! I began to feel small flutters around 15/16 weeks.
