The past couple of months...

Darla loved the airplane on our recent trip to Memphis. During takeoff, landing, and turbulence, she shouted,"Wheeee!" and threw her hands up. In between the exciting times, she decorated her seat with stickers, scored extra snacks from the flight attendants, and watch a little Elmo.

Our trip to NYC! Darla said, "Nooooo, nooooo, nooooo" to most of the stuffed animals at FAO, then a great big, "DOG! YESSSSS!" when she saw the one above.

A picnic in Central Park
She loved the penguins.

Feeding the animals. She loved it and kept asking for "More, more!" to give them.

As Darla put it, we saw "dogs" that swam, "dogs" that slither, "dogs" that can fly, and "dogs" with snouts at Central Park Zoo. :)

Darla and her pal Max love the sit and read magazines like an old married couple. I kid you not! They will sit there for 10 or 15 minutes!

Darla can also be found "reading" Dad's copy of Basic Economics or sometimes The Dictionary. Don't know why she always sneaks those volumes off the bookshelf....?
